The Corio Bay Challenge is held in a venue near central Geelong and 2 blocks from the Princes Highway through Geelong and is within walking distance of the Geelong Train Station (1km). There is ample on street parking available on Myers Street.
Geelong is serviced by Jetstar flights into the nearby Avalon airport, approximately 20 mins from Central Geelong.

There are 2 accommodation options within 300m of venue, Rydges Geelong (hotel accommodation with pool) and Quest Geelong Central Apartments. (Prices only indicate accommodation location and proximity to venue.)
The venue has a small kitchen and tea and coffee making facilities are present. The host organisation, the Geelong Gamers Guild, will also be selling cans of soft drinks, bottles of water, and snack sized chips and chocolates for a small sum. Sachet Coffee, Chocolate, and Chai will also be available for purchase.
Food will not be supplied, but participants are welcome to bring along a packed lunch and snacks if they choose to. Although contributions to support the host organisation will be greatly appreciated.
The venue is an Alcohol and Smoke free environment. Smoking and Vaping are not permitted on the premises, and any consumption must be done on the footpath outside the premises.
There are a large number of eating venues within 1km of the venue in central Geelong, although typical fast-food options are limited to McDonalds (street access), and KFC in the Westfield Shopping Centre.
Evening meal options include Indian, various Asian options and bars.
A special hidden gem is the 18th Amendment Bar in Central Geelong with a huge range of alcoholic drinks and cocktail menu, with Prohibition Era ambience.
Pub style meals are available from the Sporting Globe, the Eureka Hotel, the Geelong Hotel, and the National Hotel among others. And there are many restaurants throughout Central Geelong. And Little Creatures Brewery and Canteen is located in South Geelong.
There are multiple things for significant others and family to do in the Geelong region if they should accompany a participant, however these will need to be self organised.
Options include: Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, Art Galleries, The Great Ocean Road, Torquay and Surf Beaches, numerous outdoor and indoor playgrounds, Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie, Golf courses, Serendip Sanctuary and the You Yangs Regional park, and much more. Adventure Park Winter Glow operates June to mid July, and Adventure Park Water Park opens November to February.
